Second statistical report Spletno oko 2007/2008
Second statistical report about reports processed in the period from September 2007 to March 2008 is available.
Details from the report:
- From the 1st of September 2007 to the 31st of March 2008 we have received on www.SPLETNO-OKO.si 310 reports of allegedly illegal content on the Internet, from this 112 have been reports of allegedly hate speech, 115 reports were related to allegedly child pornography, while 83 reports referred to other allegedly illegal content. 59 reports on child pornography and 7 reports on hate speech were handed over to the Police.
- All together from the 1st of March 2007 to the 31st of March 2008 we have received 522 reports of allegedly illegal content on the Internet, from this 106 reports of allegedly illegal content were handed over to the Police.
- Comparison between first period (1.3.2007-31.8.2007) and the second one (1.9.2007-31.3.2008) shows, that number of reports related to allegedly hate speech, that were handed over to the Police, is deceasing (averagely from 1,8 reports to 1 report per month), while number of reports related to allegedly child pornography is relatively fast increasing (averagely from 4,8 reports to 8,4 reports per month).
